Monday Comic Mania

So, another week where we need to put the podcast on temporary hold; I’ve had family things to deal with, and DarkSakura wasn’t feeling good around the time we would have recorded the podcast. So! One more week of the old fashioned updates, and then we’ll return to the podcast hopefully next week. Real life can be so pesky!
Marron’s Picks
- Indomitable Iron Man – Iron Man vs a hyper-intelligent space probe bent on terraforming the planet, as well as taking on Titanium man. This one-shot is all in black and white, and sounds like it’ll be pretty cool!
- Invincible Iron Man #23 - The only thing between the Phantom and still-veggie Tony Stark is Maria Hill. Meanwhile, Doctor Strange and Tony are galavanting through Tony’s mind as the former Sorcerer Supreme tries to bring his friend back to the outside world. Still iffy on if I owe Matt Fraction an apology, but we’ll soon see.
- The Question #37 – A Blackest Night tie-in, this old series is back for one more issue as a Black Lantern ring brings Vic Sage — the original Question — back from the dead. Now the new Question, Renee Montoya, must duke it out with her former mentor. The Question is awesome, and I’ve been loving the old comics that have been temporarily revived for Blackest Night.
That’s it for this week! Stay tuned this week, hopefully, for a review of the book Percy & The Olympians: The Lightning Thief. And maybe some comic and video game related stuff as well!
